you do not have to be skinny to view this blog, the title is for coolness only

i am a seventeen year old girl living in melbourne. i go to a rare school that allows me to do three fashion subjects which is mad cool. i do my best to make the most of every moment and try to push myself outside of my comfort zone, gosh i hate that word. screw smoking and sleeping around, i don't want the clap or tuberculosis. i am happy with my health, my friends, my fam, cat and tidy light blue bedroom with roses and leather on the walls. i admire russell brand's charisma, justin bieber's voice, t-pain in general and my cat bok choy for being so flexible that he can lick his own privates. oh and my name's karista

AA-TEN-TION!!!

This is me out in front of my house in my new jaquette!
I kindly asked my mum to take some shots of me wearing it to post up on my blog, even if it was interrupting her little nap on the couch while Bold and the Beautiful drawled on in the background.
I think today's episode was the first one where there was a wedding scene with no disruptions and no one on their way on a white horse to stop the marriage, silly Brooke!
Anyway!
So the other day after school two of my friends and I were at Box Hill and we went into a Salvos. I couldn't really be bothered shopping but I thought to myself, 'just keep an eye out for a good army/military jacket'. Looking through a rack of some quite alright blazers when, BAM! I saw the love of my Winter! This excited me so much. I tried it on, looked in the mirror, spectaculaaarr! My buddies agreed:) And, it was just 10 bucks! I didn't have the money for it on me at the time but I asked the owner to save it for me 'til tomorrow. They said yes but then my lovely friend Susannah offered to pay for it for me. What a blessing! It's so perfect, best find that I've uhh.. found in a while. So happy, now I actually cannot WAIT for winter!

And hear this: Today I received my usual email from Who What Wear and the title read.. "Go Buy Now: Army Jackets". I jumped for joy for the fact that I'd already gone and bought one.
And I loved what I saw when I clicked the little 'closed envelope' icon...
I'm coveting number 3 the most, personally I think the greener the better.. It's GAP, only 80 dollars. Number 4 isn't bad either, that one was a little over my price range though, about $400. The vesty one is also great, I'm pleased for the fact that studs and big pompous, embellished shoulders will be sticking around for a while.
